Rise is a neighborhood center operating under the Mercer County Community Action Program and is unique in the delivery of service to the community because our programs and services must be consumer driven. Our mandate for a tripartite board ensures diverse representation from the local government and business sectors along with consumers to effectively develop a strategic plan to serve our community.
Eastern Mercer County is home to emerging Latino, Haitian and Chinese communities and as a result we employ a diverse multilingual staff that can communicate in English, Spanish, Chinese, Creole and French.
Rise plays an active role in the “village” that is raising our children, by partnering with the East Windsor Regional School District to offer school based programs that create a learning environment that unleashes greatness in students and helps teens achieve individual effectiveness.
